-Avoid perfume, makeup and any chemicals.
-Avoid going into swimming pools or the sea with your jewelry.
-Avoid mixing them with other pieces, as they can scratch. Always try to store them in their original packaging.
-You can rinse the pieces to remove your sweat, since some people's pH can destroy the gold more quickly.
Does your jewelry contain nickel?
NO, all our pieces are nickel free.
What relationship does my pH have with the wear of my parts?
The pH (acidity index) of the skin varies from person to person, and this can cause rapid darkening of the skin through direct contact or sweat. Therefore, some skin may darken on you, but not on a friend's.
Nothing that a simple cleaning can't fix. Remember that we use the highest quality sheet metal, so if you're going to the beach or the pool, it's best to rinse them with fresh water.
What do you suggest to keep our pieces in good condition?
We love sharing every moment of your day with you, however, there are certain times when it's advisable to remove your jewelry to prolong its shine and durability.
We recommend removing your rings and bracelets. Detergents and cleaning products in general are not suitable for contact with gold plating.
- Do you love summer? The beach and the sea, or maybe you're more of a pool person? Whatever your case, don't forget to remove your jewelry before diving into the water. Whether it's saltwater or chlorinated, it will damage your jewelry.
- We recommend removing jewelry when applying creams and perfumes.
- We recommend that you store your pieces in their original packaging to prevent scratches.

TIERRA ROSSA IS NICKEL FREE. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Nickel is a metal used to make buttons, belt buckles, and, in some cases, jewelry. This material is used because it is inexpensive and can be used in alloys to harden more expensive metals, such as gold.
However, it is proven that nickel is the number one allergenic metal (1).
Has your jewelry ever caused itching or redness? Perhaps it contains this metal in its alloy.
Nickel jewelry allergies are a dermatological reaction that affects many people who wear them. Among the conditions they can cause are:
- Itching
- Redness of the skin
- In some cases it can cause swelling in the part of the skin where the material rubs.
These types of contact injuries can worsen if the use of the jewelry that caused them is not discontinued.
For this reason, it is of great importance that when purchasing your jewelry, whether gold or silver, you have information about the brand and that the alloys they make do not use nickel.
Since nickel is, in most cases, the metal that triggers allergic reactions and skin health problems.
